Your stay

House rules

Short, and mostly common sense. They exist so the next guest arrives to the same apartment you did.

Last updated 8 September 2026

Arriving and leaving

Check in
Arranged with you — tell us your arrival time
Check out
Arranged with you, and flexible where we can be
Early or late
Free where the apartment is empty either side of you — just ask
Getting the keys
We meet you at the building and hand them over
Late arrival
Any hour. Tell us your flight and we will be there

Tell us your arrival time the day before and someone will be there. Flights into JKIA often land late — that is fine, we would just rather know.

Who can stay

  • The apartment takes two guests: two adults, or one adult and one child. This is a fire and safety limit, not a pricing one.
  • Everyone staying must be named on the booking.
  • Daytime visitors are welcome until 22:00. Anyone staying the night counts towards the two-guest limit, so please tell us first.
  • Children of any age are welcome within the two-guest limit. We do not keep a cot, but there is room for a travel cot if you bring one — tell us and we will make space.

Living here

Smoking

Quiet hours
22:00 to 07:00 — a building rule, not only ours
Pets
Not permitted, as the building does not allow them
Cooking
Yes — the kitchen is there to be used
Housekeeping
Daily except Sundays and public holidays, at a time we agree with you

The building

The apartment is part of a managed residential building with 24-hour security, a pool, a gym and a rooftop lounge. Those are shared with residents, and the building’s own rules apply to them.

  • The pool, gym and rooftop are open to guests during the building's posted hours.
  • Visitors sign in at the desk and are your responsibility while they are here.
  • Parking is available; tell us in advance if you are arriving with a car.
  • Access cards open the lift to your floor only. Losing one is chargeable by the building, so please look after it.

If something breaks

Tell us. Ordinary wear is expected and is never charged for — a mark on a wall, a worn tap, a glass that broke in the sink. We would far rather hear about a broken thing on the day than find it after you have gone.

For damage beyond that, or anything missing at check-out, we will show you what it costs to repair or replace and ask you to cover it — the actual cost, with nothing added. We hold no card and take no security deposit, so nothing is ever taken automatically. If we disagree about it, we would rather talk than argue by email.

These rules form part of the booking terms.
